Michal Karcz

Michal Karcz is a photographer from Poland, he graduated from the High School of Art in Warsaw. He only really started getting into photography in the early 90s. Originaly he was a painter, but then he combined to both to find his true calling.

"I always try to make an extraordinary picture and my goal is to make a viewer stop for a minute, to influence on emotions and take away from reality. Am I making it happen?. appraise yourself."

This picture is amazing. It is in black and white and I think it really speaks to you as you look at it. It brings out all of the texture in the forground and really sharpens it.

I just love the atmospheric feeling to this picture, and the eery smoke in the background really gives it depth. I like how the whole picture is set out.

The lighting in this picture really draws you in. I love how it is only lit up in certain places to highlight the structure. The sky gives the whole picture a dark and moody setting.

I really like this guys work, am I going to give him a 9/10 because of all the moods and levels he creates with every picture. He is one of my favourite photographers.
